A warm welcome to Lancaster and the Tara Centre

We offer a Wellbeing service for refugees and asylum seekers run by professional therapists who volunteer their time.

We offer a range of therapies which you can choose from such as a back massage, foot massage, and head, neck and shoulder massage. You may have a massage fully clothed if you wish and you can choose to have a female massage therapist if you prefer that.

Sessions last approximately half an hour and are completely free of charge.

Massage will help you relax and sleep better, will help with aches and pains, and will reduce your stress. You are welcome to come every week if you would like to.

Please do come and visit us. We look forward to seeing you.

TIMES: Every Tuesday 1-3pm (except for 24 December and 31 December 2019)

LOCATION:The Tara Centre is located in a building called The Storey in the centre of town. Our entrance is on the corner of Castle Park, directly opposite the Castle entrance. You will see a big red heart in the window. That’s us.
