Free Taster: Qigong for Health and Relaxation
FREE TASTER SESSION: QIGONG FOR HEALTH AND RELAXATION on Tuesday 10th Jan 2017 2-3pm.
Qigong is mindful movement which is great for both mental and physical wellbeing. Allso known as chi kung, it is an ancient Chinese exercise system which can be translated as qi – chi meaning energy and gong or kung which means work.
FORMAT OF THE CLASS
The class will start with warm up exercises including do-in self massage and joint loosening exercises. Then I will teach a series of qigong exercises which are flowing movements usually coordinated with the breath. Many of them have specific health benefits as well as training how to move in a relaxed, balanced and coordinated way.
